Peola Quality tag
« on: November 02, 2013, 09:16:28 PM »
Jackalope asked how my friend did with the Peola rifle tag.   He did his scouting and took the bull wanted on the evening of the second day.  A close shot (rifle) at 30 yards then winched with a 4 wheeler to the field and loaded whole in a pickup.  He did his homework and backed out when things were not right.  He moved here form Alaska about 4 years ago.

I have not seen him,  but a solid 6.   THe bull to see is the muzzy Peola Bull.  I'm surprized he has not been discovered here already.  Some here have a few nice pictures of the muzzy bull.

Justin D. showed me pictures of the muzzy bull when I was in your neighborhood a couple weeks ago that was an amazing animal.  I haven't seen the pics of the rifle bull taken looking foreword to it.

I will have to give him a call here this weekend hopefully he had some better luck.  I know how excited he was to draw that tag.
