What tire are you looking at?  I've been looking for tires myself.  How comparable were the prices.

Discount here. But work both stores over for best price. All tire mark ups are big.

I have had great experience with Discount Tire.

I bought a set of tires from Discount tires last month and was very impressed with the transaction and timing.  They special ordered the specific tire I wanted on the phone and then negotiated cheaper when I got to the store.  Still not the cheapest, but darn close. They were the most convenient in Spokane.

I have always used Toyo open country tires, but my current rig carries Cooper Discoverer ATR's, that need replacing,  i am really happy with them, so thats what im after looks like.  so far im finding them for $50 less than the Toyos.

thanks for the sales tax tip with Discount Tires on line order. So im thinking, i order them on line, then go to the dealer i was going to any way and have them mounted, is that how it works?

Check out tirerack.com some good deals to be had there, it may seem complicated but it's not at all.

I used the local DT for mounting.....$19.95 per corner.
Yes, I had them shipped to my house.
BTW, I had $1000 worth of brand new tires sitting on my front porch in plain sight for who knows how many hours....Glad my neighborhood is less thefty.

Discount Tire for me too. When I bought my tires about two years ago, they told me they would match any price I could find. Even internet prices. Toon in a print out for the tires I wanted and voila!  They matched it. Won't go to schwabs again. And my brother in law even works for them. Lol

I just picked up 4 all season cooper tires for my suburban and was out the door with all the warrantys for a shade over $700 and I still have to send in the $50 mail in rebate. Plus if you go to the on in Smokey Point its right across the street from Buffalo Wild Wings. :chuckle:
