Honestly how many coyotes do you get a year, what side of the state, and what method do you mainly use?

0.  I've only ever seen one in the wild and that was him running across the road I was driving on.  I couldn't speed up in time

I would say 1-2 per year mostly on the westside with my 7mm or my 6.5 Grendel

2 per year and usually with my .270.

I see way more than I kill....hopefully that is going to change this year.  This year I my goal is 10 dogs.  I will be using one of three rifles .270, 22-250, .223.

Same here--Zero.  I see quite a few, just can't seem to connect!  Might have got one last year, but I was too lazy to trudge 1/4 mile across a field to check.  A day or so later I saw where a couple of snowmobiles circled a dark spot in the field right where I last saw it....  I thought he ran over a hill out of sight!  :dunno:

Rain is in the forecast here on the dry side too.  60% chance means sure thing.  We got rain a few days ago, and the chance was only 20%...  :dunno:

the hunting is never as good....Therefore I plan to hit the snowline tomorrow and give it a shot....Dragging the new slayer around this year...Hopefully the 22-250 doesnt have to make an appearance this season.

My best year was 21 between September and Christmas. Haven't chased them for a few years as I got a new dog and have spent my free time chasing birds.

1-3 id say. Mostly taken during deer hunting.

I used to shoot between 30-40 each year when I hit it hard, but since life got in the way and I grew up I probably average 15 now.

had one come up to me saturday while elk hunting...  he got within ten yards and realized I was human... I stuck my tongue out at him and he bailed at warp speed... can't bring myself to shoot a little guy like that... reminds me too much of my dog.
