Cap Forest Bruiser?
« on: November 21, 2013, 10:16:39 AM »
I was told this buck was taken in Capitol Forest. I'm thinking more like Oregon. Curious if anyone knows the story. Regardless that is one heck of a buck. Congrats go whoever got him!

What a gorgeous blackie, very wide! Capital forest seems like a bit of a stretch though. :twocents:

Very doubtful that buck is from Capitol Forest. They just don't get that wide around here. I'm not saying it's not, because I don't know, but I would bet money that it wasn't killed within 100 miles of Capitol Forest.

My thoughts exactly. No matter where it came from that is a dream buck. Just hoping someone knows something about it!

That's funny. I have that same pic. My buddy sent it to me. I was told it was from his old coworkers buddy and it was from western wa. but I was pretty skeptical when he told me where. I'm thinking klickitat. Where ever it was taken it is a beauty!

I heard of three large bucks coming out of the CF this last weekend. One supposedly had a droptine. I also got a pic of a piebald buck taken near Porter.

The buck in the pic above is a monster and would be surprised if it really was from around here.

Its obvious that that buck was killed on a hill side in a clear cut. next to a stump. I solved the mystery :IBCOOL:
