Old Grey Ghost
« on: November 27, 2013, 03:45:25 AM »
I had the priviledge of chasing this guy on several occasions this fall, trying to capture him on film.  He was one of my favorite old bucks.   Makes me wonder if he was another buck I filmed a couple years ago, that disappeared.

This was the first evening that I spotted him.   He was way up the ridge, right at dark.

there are some serious survival genes locked up there...hope he bred many many does

He did deadwood.   I was on him for a good two weeks timespan and he was very active,  and he survived past late buck as well.  I would have tagged him in a heartbeat with a late tag.
