My Calender is Out. MULEY MADNESS IV

WOW, what a project.   I am happy to have published my fourth annual Muley Madness calendar today.   There is an acute lack of snow pics, but I wanted all fresh material again for this years calendar.   You have to use what god gives you. After a big rant with the publisher, and I am assuming some other rants from other clients after last years huge boost in price, they dropped about $10 off of publishing this year.  It came down to choosing between better photos or bigger bucks on a few choices.  I hope this doesn't disappoint.   Thank you to all who have supported me and have bought the calendar in the last couple years.   Your feedback and testimony is always appreciated.

Looks very good Doug!  I like a better photo over a larger buck any time, and none of those were what any of us would call small!
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

This is one of those moments ToddID.   I so wanted this buck in this years calendar.   He was the first"Calender" buck I filmed this year.  I worked on him relentlessly for a couple hours in the deep sage, and this was the best pic I came away with.   I just couldn't justify the photo being good enough quality.   Too busy I guess.   Not super clear even if the focus is decent on the deer.  Harsh shadows were also a pain, but they were all November.   I had this guy set for April for a long time, but just couldn't...



Lil Bone and I filmed him later, about 2 miles from this session.   He was bachelored up and in a customary wintering ground.   I am hoping I get a chance at his sheds, but we will see.  With no impending weather, he might just pull stakes.
