I didn't either! Only problem is it still smelled for a while, it had that "chemical" smell, from the tanning process I guess. But it was nice not having to wait a year, or more, to get it back, like I hear is the case with many taxidermists.

2004 was an epic year! I know it was the best fall general season i seen in my lifetime! I got a really nice 25" 4x4 with long eyeguards! Lots of huge bucks killed that year!

Yeah, 2004 they did really well in the general season, just before my permit hunt started on November 1st. It seems like 2015 just might have been better than 2004 though, from what I've heard.

I'm not  new to hunting deer, but I sure would  like to  be  new to  hunting  in  the  snow  during  eastern rifle  season like your buck there! We need some  weather!  killer buck. I dig the double  white patch
