I have a couple of questions about the contest.
How many points for getting a coyote kill on video and providing a link?
Are we counting all the yotes we've taken this hunting season (starting in september) or just since the contest started?

Went out this morning and had my buddy whiff on two.  I thought for sure we would up the admin lead, but it will have to wait until next time.  I am packing my rifle to the stand just in case.

Went out to day and saw two dog shot at one and missed then called the other back. He was barking like crazy at my dad and didn't see me :chuckle: I shot and hit it in the head but couldn't find it in all the grass and rocks :bash: I know its dead because of the red mist that came off it but I just couldn't find it, so I don't know if that one counts or not. :dunno:

FYI jdb and I are going to start a team.

If your willing to come to the Tri-Citys and swear a blood oath to not reveal the location of the, secret land of many yotes, hell ya its just going to get better for the next 3-4 months. I hunt dogs every saturday and some sundays, so give me a shout and we can meet up.

Boy, I gotta remember to take the camera, Could have had possibly 5 or 6 pics of ones that we didn't shoot on Sunday,Monday or Tuesday. Tuesday the weather was so bad between the rain wind and fog we didn't call in anything but jumped two. I've seen bigger jackrabbits than one of the coyotes we saw, must have weighed maybe 8 to 10 lbs. Must have been the runt.  :chuckle:

I went out this morning and have a new long distance shot on a coyote 502yd's with my 16" barrel AR, I think he was the one we missed last week and just wouldn't come in any close so I figured what the hell and sent a 40gr hornady his way and he just dropped like a stone :IBCOOL:. The bad part is when I got to the dog and dug out my camera the battery was dead :bash: but I did kill it and I can take you to it if you want to hike in for prof. :tung:

I am adding a picture in a minute to bring us up to 12.  I couldn't get three different ones on film.  Always saw them when I was stalking deer and when they were on the vamoose.   This particular dog was nothing different.  A buck had disappeared behind a big rock formation and I was stalking closer when I saw the yote disappear in the grass.  I figured I blew my oppurtunity and about that time another buck came out from behind the rocks, displaced by the bigger buck.  I was trying to edge closer and closer and all of a sudden the two point took a dive at the brush,  the coyote which I figured wen the other way came shooting out of the brush with the two point on his tail.  The buck ran the coyote up on the rocks.   I'll get the picture on here as soon as the Mrs gets off my ASS.  Too bad I don't have a rockpile to climb up on. :chuckle:
