Chehalis Basin Land Trust is hostile to hunting and using some public money to make this aquisition.

This is happening all over, especially west side.  They get so much grant money to do stuff for salmon.

exactly it's happening here as well lots of land trusts etc... sucks their best way to stop us is to own land then post it!
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

This is happening up where we are at as well.  They keep purchasing key waterfowl areas and closing them down.  Along with Nature Conservancy locations.

Yeah, nature conservancy I think is just a fancy name for a real estate group.  They've been buying up a lot of land on the OP near the park.  Have heard they inflate the price then sell to the government to add to the national park.  In the meantime, the state gives them all kinds of money to plant trees and put logs/rootwads in the water and other landscaping projects to 'help salmon'.  (Or build equity before selling to the gov.)
