Depends, is he bringing bait, paying ramp fees, how much gas are you going to burn burning, riding with him in his vehicle to and from. Can't assume he is banking anything only dividing cost equally as it relates to the trip...
I talked to a person who was asking for individuals to go fishing with him.I have no problem paying my bill. I am just wanting to see what you all think?Three people in a 17 foot boat. 6 HP engine for trolling motor60 HP main engine Looking for 40 dollars each with would be 80 dollars total.
once again, I would agree with bobcat..........am I seeing a new trend with him answering logically instead of argumentally???
If I was wanting to go fishing I wouldn't even question the $40. That sounds very reasonable to me.

The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
Can't imagine a 60hp would burn much in regards of gas, unless he is running way up or down river. If I drive and pick folks along I-5 to and from - use the Columbia from Black Diamond area it is about $120 in diesel - normally a tank full for the round trip pulling boat. Then I burn about 10 or so gallons gas about $40, get bait for Sturgeon about $20, boat ramp - normally one of us throws whatever we have in the wallets towards that. But anyhow, the cost as example are $180, normally just divide by 4 or 3, how many on boat and that is what we divide up to get a cost, but most times I say $40-50 bucks. It makes it easier to fish as much as I do with the same group of people too and it covers fuel, bait only - boat expenses are all mine. When I fish with anyone else in their boat, I always ask them what they need for gas - normally the same $40-50, as gas isn't cheap as we all know.
