Yeah I don't post, but have visited the forum weekly at least for over 3 years. I enjoy the stories, pictures, law updates, etc. i have never asked for anything from anyone. I'm not asking for a secret spot, but the name or number for someone to call (game warden) since there are only a couple days left. Our local GW is a huge help when scouting and knowing who to ask for permission. I thought somebody on here would extend the same courtesy. Between surgeries, keeping my business afloat, and other circumstances I just haven't had the opportunity to get out and this single unit that I'm not familiar with is my last hope.In your little make believe world of forum land post count may matter, but when you're just trying to feed your family it means very little. Thanks for not helping.Butter
Just a hunch but Belittling a member (jodakota)on here who has posted and helped others when asking for a handout is probably not the best strategy.
Paul Wik is the bio over there, not sure who the Warden is. The Army Corps of Engineers has a HMU along the river (Chief Timothy) which is shotgun and bow only.Sorry can't help much more than that

I also called the warden in my area and he gave me the number for the guy that handles Clarkston! This is all coming together!Man, you forum guys are a trip! I ask for a phone number and nothing but crickets for 2 days other than "You're not important because you don't post enough." Also, Implied I was lazy and unresourceful for not calling Olympia on a Saturday. LOL. After re-reading what I wrote, it did come off prickish. I was frustrated, because I had pretty high hopes of a few phone numbers to call and doe hunting in my future. From the sounds of it, many of the land owners in the Clarkston area view these deer as pests and openly welcome archery guys to thin the herd.-- Anyway, I apologize to Mr. Dakota. I appreciate that you at least responded to my question.FYI-- I was cleared by my Doc Friday for aerobic activity, so it's not like I decided to start hunting in late December. You guys make that sound like it's the regular thing around here. I've been down for 3 months, so I'm pumped to get outside, if only for 1 day.I DID have a very successful season of scouting with some great deer on camera and even a nice 6x6 up in 113. It actually should have been my best ever for a number of reasons. BUT life/health/work happens (sometimes all at the same time!) and sometimes you just need a little help. Thanks again for the info.

Thanks again for the info.1st of all, welcome to the forum and good luck with your hunt.2nd, and I'm not telling you this to be a jerk....but all of the info you've asked for here is available here:http://wdfw.wa.gov/about/contact/People don't jump out of their seats to help because when you just show up here asking for this, that and the other thing.....all of which is pretty readily available and easily obtained through a little keyboard work...it comes across as you're not interested in doing the work yourself. Again, I'm not trying to be a jerk...just trying to explain my thoughts on why you got the reaction you got.
