anybody hunt Moses Coulee??

Would love to hear about this unit...............Have a buddy that has hunted over there a few years back. Just wondering you hunts over there and any tricks to that area. Is it loaded with people?? Thanks in advance.

I've only hunted it for chukar. Didn't see many deer except one time out in a wheat field. Of course when I'm bird hunting I'm not really looking for deer so that's probaby why. There is very little public land in that unit. I would think that on the public land you would have lots of company.

I have hunted it before during the rifle season. Most of the deer are on the move and running hard once the shooting starts. There are tons of hunters in the area. There are lots of roads around the area which makes for lots of road hunting. Looks like a major seattle area freeway on the opening morning. I wouldn't suggest hunting it during the rifle season. There is the muzzleloader tag, which if you don't have many points to burn, it wouldn't be a terrible choice. I have see a few nice 4 points in this unit in late November.

Well.....somewhere on here there are pictures of some bucks from there that I took.  I'll see what I can find.

I have seen nice  bucks in there and have killed a buck or three in that area but everything said here is true...little public access...lots of people...deer looking to get the heck out...road access high etc etc

I heard that a few hunters are in there..............was thinking if I could into a place and wait for them to chase to me.........I might have a chance?? Any areas close to there that would be better...................
