Coyote question?

I have a dumb question? I have not gone after coyotes as a selected species so I don’t know.  I had a buddy call me tonight asking about taking a few out. They are on his property just a dusk and tend to try to get his Lab out for a romp. Last night one was about 20 feet from his front door howling within minutes 5 others were seen not more than 100 yards from the house. My question can you shoot the bugger’s after shooting hours?

Cool - I wish I had my Maw Duce with AN-TVS-2B Starlight Scope or a Vulcan, I could whack them all with a few short bursts.  LOL    I'm an old Army guy. Maybe I should look into something for an AR platform.

lightum up baby.  I have not found a red light any more beneficial.  I use a white light.  two persons are usually better one to spot one to shoot.

A "Bow Lite" attached to your scope will light em up. Green works good. Google it or YouTube it.

The rule is... you can hunt 'em year round, day or night.... except in an area open to modern deer or elk.
So yeah, light 'em up.

Burn'em with the main beam of the white light just when your ready to pull the trigger. (burn'em-boom, works every time) Just keep in mind, you're probably only going to get one maybe two shots at best then they'll leave for a few hours so make'em count.  Good luck.
