There are some very brave people in CT.

There were some very brave people in the 1700's, too.  They are called the "Founding Fathers".  If we had lost the Revolutionary War, they would have been hunted down and hanged for treason!  These days all it takes is a threatening letter...
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

The difference between our founding fathers and the individuals of today is that the founding fathers would meet and assemble.  You won't see that today.  And those that defy the law will be arrested one at a time while those watch it and talk under there tongue of what they would do if it happened to them.  Unfortunately it may happen and nothing will be done about it.  Armed swat teams will roll in and burn the structure down around you as we have watched on several occasions.  They will label you as whatever they want to justify there actions to the media and public.  It becomes an acceptable form of witch hunting for so called right wing militia extremist.  Despite ones love for life, family, God and country.

Sorry about the "Jack" Wolfbait but there is more  BS coming out of the the tri state area.......

MILLER: New Jersey bill is outright gun ban on .22-caliber rifles and leads to confiscation

Gov. Chris Christie’s state is ground zero for gun control legislation this year

The New Jersey Assembly's Law and Public Safety Committee was scheduled to hold a public hearing on Monday (postponed for snow) about a bill that reduces the maximum magazine capacity from 15 to 10.

Since the legislation covers both detachable and fixed magazines, it has the effect of to banning popular, low-caliber rifles.

The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs gave the draft legislation to top firearms experts in the country to determine what guns would fall under the expanded ban.

They discovered that the bill would affect tube-fed, semi-automatic rifles because the magazine cannot be separated from the gun.

Thus, the experts found that at least 43 common rifles would suddenly be considered a prohibited “assault firearm,” such as the .22 caliber Marlin Model 60, Remington Nylon 66 and Winchester 190.

Just having one such gun would turn a law-abiding owner into a felon overnight.

They wouldn't have been able to do anything if they had those feeds!  The assembly of individuals is what could mass an army, a militia.  Not a bunch of guys in recliners spread out thinly across the state.  Besides the internet is monitored by big brother and if you say the wrong thing, you have someone kicking in your door.

Lets say the certificate application was dropped in the mailbox just after pick up on December 31st. It gets picked up and post marked January 1st after the dead line. Now add 2-3 day delivery time for 1st class letter delivery according to the USPS web site, and you have the letter being received on the 3rd at the earliest. Unless they somehow knew who was applying before the applications were actually received, that letter is phony.

As I stated earlier probably a form letter and  here's some background as  none have been sent yet...

Several Conn. Police Officers Refuse to Confiscate

http://www.examiner.com/article/conn-police-refuse-to-enforce-new-gun-laws

A  showdown is developing between a sizable number of Connecticut state police officers and the politicians who passed into law highly restrictive gun control, gun bans, and bans on high capacity magazines.

Gun rights legal expert and activist David Hardy reported Friday that 250 law enforcement officers in Connecticut have signed an open letter stating that they will not enforce the new anti-gun and magazine laws, which they consider to be a violation of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

A major news story on these developments is due to be published soon, but Hardy received an advanced notice via email from Tyler Jackson, the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers Association, the organization that sent the open letter.

According to Hardy,

Tyler Jackson has emailed me an interesting story, soon to appear online (I'll link to it once it does)-- the gist is that the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers' Assn has released an open letter stating that the police will not "be party to the oppression of the people of the state by enforcing an unconstitutional law." So far 250 LEOs have cosigned the letter.”

Gunowners in the state have already ignored the mandate to comply with the new laws, refusing to register with the state government their possession of so-called "assault weapons" and forbidden magazines.

It is estimated that over 300,000 gunowners have practiced civil disobedience in refusing to register and give up the newly forbidden items. Only roughly 50,000 citizens in the state have complied.

But now these courageous citizens have key support in high places. With at least 250 law enforcement officers joining them in disobeying an unconstitutional law, the gunowners have a new weapon in their arsenal -- the support of hundreds of police officers.
