I got myself a new pup this winter, does anyone have any pheasant wings for training that I could buy or trade for?

I am sure I have some in the freezer that I could mail to you, if there are no options closer to you.

I'd be willing to part with a  frozen Chukar if you like. I'm in Kent.

If you go to Cabelas here is another option for you.  A full pheasant pelt zip tied to a retrieving dummy for $24.99.  I used one of these for a while working land retrieves with my pup when she was younger.  It lasted Okay.  Just make sure it's used only for training and not as a chew toy.

So you would shoot a phesant with a .22? And your planning on taking a grouse or phesant in a couple weeks when your new lab arrives?
