coug partner needed
« on: March 08, 2014, 01:29:40 PM »
Anybody want to go find a couger with me. I hunt on the best side (east) and live in vancouver. Only been in the hills a few times so I need some help. I'll drive. Weekends for half days or so.

No dogs, and modern firearm. My plan was to find some snow covered ridges and do some hiking looking for tracks. Using a call on the way. I'm hoping whoever can go knows of some areas to hunt. Only so many gmu's left open. Not much time left either.

No areas in mind. I haven't been in the mountains around here but once with another huntwa member. So we would have to find some public land. Shouldn't be to hard though. I hunt the blues for deer an elk an when that's over its like an eternity until I get back in the hills. I need some weekends hunting couger to calm down after deer an elk,  so its not such an abrupt end to hunting season. There's only so many gmus open that haven't met quota. So my thought was to consentrate on ones with snow.
