I suggest that he go see an eye doctor if he used to be a decent shot and is now having trouble hitting anything.

May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Take yoga so he can learn to control himself and to control his buck fever :dunno: and quail fever :chuckle:

BY the way I missed 2 different bucks this year hahah and one was the easiest shot you could ever imagine. So I need to consider eye doctor or mayeb the yoga idk

I got a tip for Jimbo, get new friends and keep working at it. Keep after them Jimbo. A bad day in the field is better than a great day at work.

OMIGOD this is funny to me.  My buddy in MT this year couldn't hit a barn from the inside.  I had gotten him to within 125 yards of 3 different bucks, all decentt 4-points, and STANDING!  I finally told him to use my rifle and he connected on a nice buck with the first shot.  We thought for sure it had to be the gun.  I was at the range with him last Friday when he shot his rifle for the first time since.  The thing was dead nuts!  I was watching the target with my binos when he shot and I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

LOL.. Well being a bow hunter,  and the people I hunt with,  for every missed shot.... the whole camp gets a shot at your hunting hat,  same distance as what you missed at.  Sounds to me like his hat should look a lot like mine does this year....   :bash:   :yike:

I think so too >:( >:( >:(

Kwackwacker is making this up I only missed 3 times because the elk was running. I only shot about 12 shells and i did get ONE quail. And i didn't even shoot at the deer cause I din't have a shot.

How was your Elk season kwack wacker? At least I know where the animals are.

I use to be called "4 shot", took me a long time to loose that name, but in time I did. My first elk and deer I got at age nine, they both took 4 shots... I hit them everytime. I think I understand why my dad has gray hair.  :chuckle:

It's ok.....I am probably the real worst shot on this forum :P I do not like shooting guns....The kick almost knocks me over the bang scares me and it is a damn good thing I don't hunt  :chuckle:

Now I do like shooting an old fashioned bow ;)

Funny you ask I have a guy that I take hunting every year. In the last 5 years he has missed 4 bucks that I put him on, and another that was 100yrds away that he couldn't see. (standing broadside of course) It stood there for 5 min. Three were nice bucks that I shot after he missed two or three times.  I give him so much crap. Mabe that is the problem I give him so much crap there is now to much pressure for him to perform?? :dunno:

I missed a nice deer this year.  My buddy had just gotten his deer and we were starting to field dress it. About that time another nice shooter wandered in within range (black powder).  I snuck through the grass to about 75 yards of him. Put the rifle across (of all things) a downed wire fence.  Fired and it went between his legs.I should have known better. With my shooting skills I need all the help I can get and a wobbly fence is no help at all.  Came out alright though. Next day did get a nice 4 X 3.

I watched a guy on the hill opposite me last year shoot at a spike like nine times. He did kill it eventually, but only hit it once... And he had a rest... I generally average just over one shot for all kills, except one. I was hunting the end of the regular modfire season one year and the very last day of the season I saw a buck and tried to zero in with my scope, only to realize my reticle was blown... I went back to the same spot during late buck with a whole new setup that I really hadn't gotten comfortable with yet only having two weeks to shoot it. I jumped a decent buck and four shots later it was down, with one more mercy follow up, personal record for shots fired.
