Montana bull hits the dirt!!!
« on: November 21, 2008, 07:44:11 PM »
The day started out really slow. We got fresh snow last night but that kept the animals hunkered down all day...Got kind of frustrated mid day and headed off the hill only to run into a really fresh elk track..Followed him for about 200 yards and jumped him outta his bed. He stopped at 445 yards and a couple well placed shots and he was down...I will get pics up very soon...Maybe bearhunter or my girlfriend will have to post em cus I am beat and only got the front half and head out....The bull is a 5x3. Not the biggest but thats how it goes...shoot em when u can....Pics to come!!!

Guess I better not mention the big one I just got in Montana as I don't have any pics of it yet.  Good job filling your tag.  Good eats!
