Recently put this together.  Barrel is an AAC manufactured 9" 300 BLK.
This upper isn't what's going to be on this lower most of the time, this was mainly an experiment.
Shooting subs, which is all I want this 300 BLK setup for, the can hardly gets warm at all.  Doesn't heat up the hand guard in the least bit.
The "thwack" when hitting the groundhog from a 187 grn sub is quite loud!

On another note, the big fire doesn't seem to have affected any of my groundhog hunting grounds.  There appears to be just as many running around as in previous years.  I'm guessing their hidey holes were deep enough to keep them safe.

Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

I need to stop looking at this thread.  I see it costing me a lot of money in the near future if I don't.  ;)

We have been doing some side chargers at work and just finished up some of these cropped charging handle bodies to fill the slot.

You can't build just one.

According to my wife I can.
There's always a way.  These are like Lego's for big boys mixed with pringles, you can't build just one!!  What she doesn't know won't hurt her...
ONE of these is known of.  Had a bit of work done to the lowers Friday after work...  Not shown is the classic A4 build.

Nice, whats your barrel length Campmeat?
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

We do. I saw yours too. Well, you know what I mean. We shot mine today after we put a SWFA 10x42 fixed power scope on it. It shot 1/2 minus at 100 yards... :chuckle:

Can you get ammo in your neck of the woods, assuming yours is a Grendel too ?

Nice color on that campmeat! What do they call that one? Is it duracoated or cerakoated?
