I bought mine over the counter an you still have to log in an submit it.. You have 2 options for deer an elk. Option one apply or option 2 put in for the point. So no they don't automatically submit for you.. Alreast they never have for me

You can submit them if you want to but it's not required. It's only required if you want the point only option or if you want to apply with a partner.

Anyone else having this issue? I log in with my Wild ID under purchase permits and it shows my Multi-Season deer and Elk purchase on 3/10. If I log into permits results, the drop down chart on the left doesn't included a 2014 option for me and my permit applications for Multi deer & elk aren't shown? So I can't even see if the draw has been run or not. Like others are saying they are seeing "Drawn not run yet"???

I have the same problem.

I just got off the phone with the Game Dept and she said as per page 82 of the 2013 Game regs. When a individual multi-season application is purchased. It is automatically submitted.

(360) 902-2200 and she fixed me right up. She checked out my profile with my Wild ID and said I'm good to go. Made the call at 9:10pm.

The multi season permits are submitted upon purchase unless you want the points option.
I thought the same thing but that's wrong you have to choose.

Not singling anyone out but I have to go on a small rant.

Just to be safe I always submit mine after purchase.  I don't rely on WDFW to get anything right anymore.  This is the reason why it always takes so long to get our results is that people call in for days with complaints and trying to fix errors or mistakes that were made.  Purchase the application, submit application, check status of application (it will say draw not run yet soon after you submit).  I think if the applications are due at midnight they should begin the drawing process as soon as business begins the next day.  If you screwed up your application process you get a sucks to be you and here's your point for next year since you did purchase.

Actualy, you don't have to submit jack on a individual application. Submitting is only required for "Group" or "Point option". Kind of hard to screw that up. I'm surprised at the confusion and misinformation concerning this.

I spoke again with the game department about this not being crystal clear as to why my Multi-Season permit applications were not showing up under "Draw results". This is their explanation.

If you purchased a multi season permit application and submitted it, which submission is not required for a indavidual application. It will immediately show up in the draw results page.

If you purchased a indavidual multi season permit application and DID NOT SUBMIT IT, WHICH IS NOT REQUIRED. It will automatically be submitted and will show up on the permit results page when all application are confirmed, just prior to the drawing.

Bottom line.

A individual multi-season permit application only needs be purchased. It does not need to be submitted, if it is submitted the only thing that changes is the submitted application will show on the permit results page immediately.

It would be nice if this was explained a little more in deep in the game pamphlet, to a avoid such confusion.
