Burris Eliminator III ???

I'm thinking on buying a Burris Eliminator III Ballistic Laserscope for my new 7mm does anyone  have any info or exp with one or should i jest get  a Nikon monarch BDC

 You can target shoot with it but it's not legal for hunting in WA state. I've looked at those and would love to have one but can't justify the cost for just target shooting.

Eli346 I thought the same thing but called the game department and they said it it was legal the only thing illegal is something that projects a beam on to the animal like a laser. With that said it has been three years since I asked also who knows if the person I talked to was full of bull or what. Not saying yay or nay just saying check into it. All they can say is no.

I'm pretty sure they are legal.  No different than using a seperate rangefinder and dialing turrets.  (Except a little bit faster)

I knew a guy who had one.  I think he used it once, and sold it.  Too expensive for my blood!

Gimmicky! Money would be better spent on a quality scope and a separate laser rangefinder.

Call me old school but some of the technology nowadays just takes a bit of the fun/challenge out of it. Even if I could afford one, I would never buy one because I think it takes it a bit too far. I am all about more efficient shots but I still prefer my rangefinder and old fashioned range time to get dialed in.

I'd never buy one because it looks like you have a spotting scope bolted to the top of your rifle.

and I would still need a separate rangefinder... for other guns or bow hunting. Imo you would be much better served with a normal scope.

  Besides, the last I knew, it was a $1000.00 scope, and it's limited to one gun.  For that money, you could get a nice scope, and still have money to get a good rangefinder that you can use anywhere.    The idea is good, but too expensive to be practical.

  It sure doesn't look like a plain old scope!
