« on: April 12, 2014, 08:30:50 PM »
What do y'all carry?

This is my first aid kit I take with me on a lot of trips, from backpacking to bird hunting to fishing Weighs about a pound. Don't take the scissors with me that's what a knifes for unless weight doesn't matter.

Has a quickclot
Band aids
Triangular bandages(x2)
Gauze
Ace wrap
Medical/duct tape
Tourniquet
Pills

When Chuckar hunting  I add a Sam splint, emt gel and honey sticks(for dog)

Making a slightly bigger one for the car soon too

Semper Paratus

Beretta White Wing 12ga Approx 20k rounds and still going strong!
Tikka t3 light 300wm

I generally have a small pack with basic outdoor supplies so I carry one in a small plastic container made by Johnson and Johnson. It has essentially what yours has but also includes a snake/bee sting kit with Benadryl asprin some Tylenol and lidocaine gel. If I am on a long back country trip I opt for a complete U.S army first aid kit.

Duct tape and aleve. I always have ratchet straps in my truck so if you need a hardcore tourniquet I can set you up!  :chuckle:
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

I carry about the same stuff. But I keep it in a blaze orange bag so it is easily found when need quick. especially when hunting with different folks. Then they can find it cause its the only thing in my pack that color.
