Turkey reports??
« on: April 17, 2014, 12:38:01 PM »
Bagged a turkey yesterday so I started the report.  Asked me questions about the tag I used then all of the sudden the report asked me how many days did I hunt in the spring with nothing to do about the specific tag I used.  My question is I plan on buying another tag and not done hunting this spring but by asking how many days I hunted this spring would cancel out the rest of my season and can't buy another tag?

Your fine, I believe it says how many days did you hunt using this tag.

LOL, you're reporting your "Turkey 1" tag only.  All details provided are about that tag with nothing in reference to your 2nd tag. Congrats on the harvest.

Ok what do I do now? I bought a 2nd tag today and want to report the 1st tag but how do I answer these questions?

Enter the three digit Game Management Unit where you hunted the most in the spring general season.
I want to answer not done hunting in the spring since I have another tag, but don't have that option.

In the spring general season, did you hunt for turkey in more than one Game Management Unit?
Want to answer not done hunting in the spring, but don't have that option.

Enter the three digit Game Management Unit where you hunted the second most in the spring general season.
Want to answer not done hunting in the spring, but don't have that option.

Enter the number of days you hunted for turkey in this Game Management Unit during the spring general season.

Want to answer not done hunting in the spring, but don't have that option.

Seems if I report to the only options the state gives, my spring season is over.

Just report the info based on your first tag. You will have to fill out the same info again for your second tag when you report that. Your season is not over.

I bet your right and agree, but just hate how this state plants traps like this.  Unfortunate, I am going to be wary out in the woods wondering what if I get checked and the warden pulls out a lab top and say look here you reported you where done hunting.

You are spending too much time worrying when you should be hunting.

Just wait till the season is over and do it then.

Don't report if you're not done hunting. It's not a trap.
