I've heard and read too many horror stories about Toxics to ever try them myself. This year I'm shooting Slick trick 125's for deer and bear and going to try the Solid S30V 125's for elk
Before you decide give the Shuttle T a try. They do not glance off and leave a HUGE entrance hole. Blind man could follow the blood trail. The blades are .040. They willl not bend or ever come out. They are dovetailed into the ferrel.

I'd give up bowhunting all together if forced to use one! It is better than an Allen or an Atom though.
Mmm new broadheads, What ever will I shoot this year...
Shot them last year for deer. Shot my buck at 13 yards found my arrow 47 yards away. The impact was awesome bleed the deer out in less then 10 feet. Died almost instantly. Will continue shooting these. They shoot equal with my field points put to 100 yards on my range. People love to hate these haha. I love them tho.

My nephew even had the same experience with that gawd awful Crimson Talon! Good shots make just about every broadhead look good! It's those not so good shots where good vs bad really show. And a great broadhead shows equally well on those non lethal shots allowing the animal to recover and survive for the next time you meet instead of dying a slow painful death weeks later. That's the biggest issue I have with all the cookie cutters that have come and gone.
A friend of mine gave me a couple toxics, but I think i will use them for small game or sell them.
