Bull Urine
« on: April 29, 2014, 12:07:07 PM »
Just wondering if using bull urine for a cover scent or attractant in early Sept is a good option.  Anyone with experience with this?

YES! Elk Fire in the glass spray bottle. Had elk smelling me the whole way in stalking into bow range. Buy it. Now.

End of discussion.

Never needed elk piss to kill a bull in September.  Smell much better in the tent without it as well. :twocents:

The key is to place it on your upper lip.

Then you know what you smell like!

Hmmm. Glass bottles and it goes on my upper lip. Got it. Any other tips?

Just dab a little Cow In Heat behind your ears before dinner tonight. It'll be the rut in April. Way cheaper than cologne too

It's a good cover scent.  But it stinks.  So it up to you.  Last year my buddy had some and I was spraying it and calling while he was trying to kill the bull.  The bull walked around the landing never giving him a shot for atleast five minutes.   But it stinks!

No matter what Cover Scent you use or buy, you can never hide the stank of your human breath.  I think cover scents are way over rated. Never used any.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

This is definitely not like the cover sent you spray on your clothes.  Just spray on trees and such.
