My 11 year old's first bear
« on: June 04, 2014, 10:47:06 PM »
My son got his first bear a couple of weeks ago.  We snuck up to 100 yards and his first shot was a little high and the bear turned and ran straight at us.  I was filming and dropped the camera to prepare while my son stood his ground and cycled the bolt for a new round.  The bear stopped at thirty yards and he gave him another round and that was as close as he got.  Great hide, dark legs, brown body and light colored back.  Will make a great rug for his room.  Great memories for both of us.

That is freaking awesome! Beauty of a bear, it will look great on his wall.

Sweet!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
