RIP - Jay Jones - Battle Ground
« on: June 29, 2014, 09:47:21 PM »
Jay Jones, a friend of mine and a friend to many, was camping and fishing with buddies on Bachelor Island this weekend.  It appears he hit something and was ejected out of the boat.  They found his boat on Saturday evening adrift at the mouth of the Lewis River with the motor running and he was missing.  They located his hat and boots and believe to be drowned.  They have been searching the area and have not recovered a body at this time.  I hope they are able to recover him and look forward to closure for his family and friend.

I saw this on the news. I'm sorry you lost your friend, H2O.

They finally recovered his body yesterday in Kalama, WA.  Been a long wait.  Now the family will have additional closure.
