Really could not help myself... New Knight
« on: July 02, 2014, 07:16:13 PM »
Got another Knight Ultra Lite Western Edition... This one will be a dedicated cap shooter...

Now I just need the weather to cooperate and move from the 90's to the low 70's - so I could start breaking it in.  Then I would be a happy camper for sure.

I did not draw a late season elk tag, so I am confined to hunting the regular ML season but I did draw an Xtra Whitetail tag (doe tag)

So I am sure the new rifle will get some work...

And because of the illness - my wife has set some rules down... "If one cometh one must goeth" So I did have to sell a Mountaineer Western Edition to help finance this one..

I looked/held this same muzzie last weekend and really liked it also. Seems to be a great looking gun and a lot lighter than the other Knights. I am not a real muzzie guy so are there any other real benefits to this gun over the cheaper/heavier models other than looks and weight? I am going to buy something for a muzzie hunt I drew this fall so doing my research and this one is at the top of my list so far. Thanks

I would really like to tell that the ULite is far above the other Knight models - but for really - taint so... The Big Horn, DISC Extreme, and the regular Mountaineer all shoot and perform great with sabots or conicals...

I prefer the ULite for weight and the shorter barrel...
