can't post pics from my phone.
« on: July 10, 2014, 07:39:49 AM »
So I picked up a new phone about a month ago and it will not post pics to hunt WA.  Every other site is fine it just first like to post here.  I don't get any errors it just goes to a blank page and nothing posts.  I'm guessing it's probably my phone but I don't know.

Nah...your standard size photo for your phone is to big. Either change your phone settings to be under the max file size or do it from your desktop.

What I do is email the pictures to myself. When you do that it gives you the option to resize the picture. Pick the size that's closest to 800x600. When you receive the email, save the picture and then post it on here.

Maybe there's an easier way, but if so I'm not aware of it.

What kind of phone?

Tapatalk is it's own photo hosting site and it auto-resizes pictures as needed.
I don't have any issues ever with my iphone and tapatalk posting pics. You can even send photos via pm should you ever want to do that.

That's good to know.  I'll have to play around with tapatalk some more and see if I can figure out posting pics from there.  Thanks.

It's an LG G2.  If I load pics from my downloads it works fine.

The little square with the mountain/sun inside. Click that.  It will take you to your photo library. You'll figure it out from there.

I guess I'm assuming it looks the same on everything.

I just figured something out. Those icons don't show when I hit quick reply...There is a plus sign I need to click to get those to show.

Sorry, I should've included that step.

Tapatalk is great. I use the regular browser when just surfing the site and writing posts but use it to post pics and it works and easy!
