Watershed Deer tag
« on: July 12, 2014, 12:44:32 PM »
So my dad checked draw results the day they came out and told me he hadn't drawn anything.  Then I get a call from him this morning that he got a letter in the mail about a Watershed deer tag.   :chuckle:  Turns out he did draw something!

Unfortunately, we don't know a ton about the unit.  We know you can only have 2 people in the Watershed area at a time and that it's steep and rugged access.  Season is October 4-15 which is early.  Does anybody know where the deer are hanging out that time of year?  Are they high or low?

Any help would be appreciated.

:twocents: Used to see monster mule deer in there a lot before I moved.  Some whitetails are moving in there as well it's thick country that isn't friendly to your knees or ankles bring a meat pack.If you go up high you well find some nice muleys you might find some down low but the best place to start is by contacting the Biologist of the watershed or someone that's been in there recently.
Best of luck
