anyone hear about recent encounters with lions in and around cashmere? wdfw has been little to no help to the locals- horses attacked and a dog killed i think so far

Kitty needs a good case of the splinters.
I may be wrong but I believe under WA law Attacking animals/pets I believe warrants removing the problem, be it WDFW trapping or other means?
