Pics of my pup, thought i would share
« on: December 05, 2008, 03:26:35 PM »
He is now 11 months old, or will be on the 17th

this is one when he was just 8-9 weeks old

here he is not much older

this is in the summer so he is about 6 months

and these are from today

i wish i could get one with a bird in his mouth though, still working on his first successful retrieve  :(

Love the LABS.
Have you worked with real Ducks before??  Run retreiving drills with a dead duck, he will pick the scent up and remeber it.  He is at a prime age, short attention spane, but lots of energy.  Good look
Will hunt for food.

yeah i have been using a dead duck for retrieving, i think its more of the hunter's fault for not actually shooting a bird down when he is with me  :bash:

He certainly is great looking dog. Thanks for sharing. My next pup is on order and should be born in a week or so. That first season they are in the field beginning to know what is going on is an awesome time. Just having a dog you can take out with you is such a great time.
