also i have a pretty good idea but could someone pm me what flossing is?? I have heard of the skookum fly and such....
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Flossing is basically drift fishing with a long leader with the intent of "lining" the fish.  That means you drift your leader into its mouth.  Lead goes down stream, line gets pulled ("flossed") through the mouth, and the hook contacts the fish, often outside-in.  Snagging.
