leupold bx4 vs zen ray ed3 8 by 42?
« on: July 28, 2014, 12:29:22 AM »
found great deals on both binos.
Ive only ever had the chance to look through bx 3 mojaves.I loved them when they were at the top of my budget.
I feel as though the bx4s would only be an improvement on them but have heard great things of the zen ray ed3s.
I am super green when it comes to binos, just know I need me a good pair this year.
Hoping for a little insight being that both of these would be ordered online without getting some hands on first

Can't comment on the bx4's,  but the zen ray ed 2 that I have is better than any other leupold binocular I have seen.

I haven't tried those leupys but I'm happy with my low end riflescope by them.  But the zen rays 7n that price range are awesome.   Imho leupy doesn't make good binos for the money.   Go with zen ray.  :twocents:

I don't think they're sold in stores. If they're still a site sponsor you should on Charles and see what their most recent MO is. I think he used to give discounts to H-W members and if you didn't like them, you could mail back for a refund. Good communication from him last I checked.
