black bear mount
« on: August 03, 2014, 08:45:23 PM »
So as some of you seen in the bear section I got my first bear yesterday now I'm debating on what to do with it....I caped out the whole hide and froze it....I'm thinking about a wall mount from the chest up with scenery...when I first spotted the bear it was eating cascara berries and i would like to recreate that scene ....so post up your bear mounts so I can get some more ideas on poses

Honestly check with Paul at ELK PLAIN TAXIDERMY. He will definitely put you in the right direction.

Nice mount! Johnny, I was curious as to the measurements you got on the skull. He looks huge.

I would recommend looking at Natures Way Taxidermy, I was in his shop looking for someone to mount my bear this year and he has some great looking bear mounts in there.

Ya know I still have no clue. Never got my skull back from him. Still waiting. Supposed to be beetled but I'm still waiting.  :bash:
