Budget Bushcraft Pack Skinners For Sale - New Thread

Here's another batch of budget bushcraft style Pack Skinners.

These knives are a low budget, field craft style version of an handmade custom knife. I decided to do a knife that would cut like no other that was priced affordably...

What I came up with was:

modern sawmill bandsaw steel blade, convex ground

heat treated and tempered into a range of 60 - 62 rc

gripped with canvas micarta

and sheathed with kydex.

(These are pack only sheaths, not lanyard sheaths like I used to make. The old style was too hard for many to use. These are a lot easier, but you won't be able to hang the knives from the sheaths anymore. That's why I say, Pack Only!) 

I'm asking $50 each delivered in the USA.

If I hadn't just got a knife, Steve, I'd be buying one. Those look like a good deal.

If that's your style, by all means they'd work good for that! I have a few blades from this steel I designed for kitchen, sandwich sized... These are fine, but shorter blades than I prefer for kitchen. (I'm a foodie, do it for a living, I prefer about a 6" cutting edge for veggies and etc.)

Like the honesty and you are right about them being a little short for most kitchen work.  I was mostly commenting on the "look". ie like!
