This is my first bull I've ever killed. I've shot a couple cows so I was excited when me and some buddies drew the Margaret bull tag. I just posted the full story on the forum. You can read it here: http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,161178.0.html
The short story is this: on the evening of September 20th, we located him with some bugles from up high, snuck through all kinds of brush and creek bottoms to get in his kitchen. Bugled and he came marching in to 5 yards. Arrow ripped through both lungs and he died up where we first heard him bugle. I'm pretty sure this was the biggest bull I saw in 9 days of hunting and I saw A LOT of bulls. It was a dream hunt and I couldn't have asked for a better way for it to end!

Nice toad. I have heard guys talking about Margaret like its not as good anymore, lost faith in it. But sure looks like its still worth putting in for right there haha.

I knew 5 other guys that drew that tag and all but one of them killed respectable bulls. It's true that there aren't a whole lotta "mashers" up there but the bull-to-cow ratio alone makes it an incredibly fun hunt. Where can you go where you have bulls fired up throughout the whole season?

all very nice
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
