Have you seen pics from this year?  Does he have the double drop tines this year?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Yes, he does.

Hmmm wonder when he'll hit his full potential. Just keeps getting bigger.

Just making sure that was him and not one of his offspring.  I hadn't ever seen him with dual drop times before.

Why has no one thumped this buck with an arrow in their backyard?

One is it would be illegal and two he is a celebrity!

People travel from all over to see this buck.  And since he is so well photographed the poacher would have to sneak the horns on a boat headed for North Korea to ever be able to display them without certain prosecution.  Furthermore he is almost tame.  So the poacher would have the same thrill as shooting a free range black angus which I expect is not worth the almost certain jail time.  I've heard during times of full horn growth he has almost 24 hour security too.

You can't hunt deer in your back yard with a bow when in city limits?
In tri cities guys hunt in city limits with bows for geese.

As I understand it he has been published as "The Nosler Buck", Bend Oregon Buck, Sleepy Bend Buck and "Buck Norris".
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
