This guy is no secret.

Huh. I sent an email to the local wdfw biologist to see if I can get any of the rest of the story.

He'd have to come west about 270 miles, Chris.

Looks like the same place you had pictures of cats from last year. Camera just facing a little different direction

How about proximity of water in relation to your camera site. I have been impressed with the mix of animals you have gotten the last couple of years

Water is 1/4 mile away. Small year round creek. Camera is in the same place as last year. It's aimed a little to the left inadvertently now. I've got 3 or 4 different cats on this camera again this year. One from last year got killed for sure, and maybe 2.

Was the ear tag readable at any point?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

That's the only pic I got of it. Had a couple shots of the rear end but that's it.  2 other sets of cat pics but not collared cats.

I think we have a bit of a lion overpopulation problem. Ive definitely got 3 different cats on camera this year, and I think 4-5. I'm hoping we can notch a tag or 2 come October.
