Nice bucks! Where abouts in Montana is that at? We used to go over to Jordan every year, but haven't been in about 10 years.

I was watching the Nosler hunting show the other day and they had a pic of a guy from washington holding a buck inside a wall tent that looked just like your buddies buck. Was that you guys by chance?

Thats a heavy set of horns for Fort Peck. I've seen some like that on the east side draw area. Did you go with C Mann or a DIY ?

Ya that was our bucks on Noslers Magnum hunts on the Outdoor show. Mine was hanging from the rafter pole in the pictures split in half because I shot it between the eyes. The guys said my buddys was 18" wide but its really 21". Also we remember meeting Jim in our camp and him taking the pictures but never did he say anything about using the pictures for there show, was kinda surprised when I seen that. It sucks because every place in the show is all the areas we hunt over there. Hope there is not an absolute mob of hunters this season because of the show, it was bad enough this last season. Cool to see some of our animals on T.V. though!

Can't see the pics on my work computer. I'll look tonight. Word is that the breaks had a bad winterkill last spring and the hunting was rough this fall. We were originally headed that way, and after talking with some bios, we shifted northeast.
Anyone hunt the breaks or the reservoir this year and have any luck?
And by the way, we're NEVER bored with pics. From ANY State...

I hunted there again this last season, and it was definetly a lot slower and fewer deer, with twice as many hunters because of the huge additional amount of cow tags they gave out. There was still some decent bucks taken though.

We hunted the south side of the reservoir in 08 and everyone was complaining about the drop in deer numbers. We saw quite a few smaller bucks and does but the mud hampered us from getting where we wanted to go ( Nasty stuff when it rains - need chains ). Most of the bucks taken from BMA areas we saw were 2 and 3 points. We were looking for something bigger and aate our tags. Looked to me like any other decent area if you scout it, burn a lot of shoe leather, and get away from the roads for a week you have good chance at a decent buck. The guides do pretty well over there as they have their honey holes well scouted.
