The only thing that bull would hear would be a soft thump and the air escaping out two holes out each side of his chest.

I hope to find one that nice. I would love to have the opportunity to take a beautiful animal like that one with My bow this year. I can not wait to get back over there and do some more scouting before season.

The pictures are 8/4 and 8/5, I checked the cam in early September and the batteries died in early August (8/7).  Will be checking the cam again in early October, will post more if he is still around.

I got a few pics of this bull after he got rid of his velvet.  How wide to you think he is?  He may still be alive.

Knowing mine was 48, I'd have to give him low 50's. Beautiful critter.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

I'll give you a call next year when I get my tag...and then we will find out for sure :chuckle:

Love the moose pics!  Was hoping you would have some post velvet

I had to go back and look at your photo to make sure it wasn't the same bull :chuckle:  His paddles look a little shorter than yours but those tines look longer.  Makes me think you are on the money guessing low 50's.  But I am just a moose dreamer and not an expert ;)
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I posted a couple trail pictures over on Jae's thread of what I think is the same bull as Butch's.  Trying to use it as reference, I was guessing mid 50's, but the angles and distance are much different.

Here are a few other good bulls from the same camera.

How cool to have such giants on film! And another member's moose! So neat!

What kind of camera is that, the bull looks superimposed.

It is a Sony P41 homebrew camera, they take nice pictures.
