I've seen a ton of them the last 2 weeks while elk hunting.

We have been up two times and seen three and took two. Both ruffes and young of the year. No luck seeing blues.

I walked over 10 miles and drove more than 50 miles in the Blewett Pass area last weekend and didn't see one grouse.

We've seen tons of them, groups of 4-6, some pairs, but mostly larger groups.  Have 5 in the freezer, 4 Ruffed and 1 Spruce.

Same with me. Been seeing lots grouse all summer in groups, eastside and west side. Last week on the northeast side I shot 3 ruffed and 1 blue. All of them were in family groups and were in excellent shape. Oh, and they tasted really good too.
$5 is a lot of money if you ain't got it

i went out over my weekend (mon-tues) on a camping/hunt trip and the first day saw 8, killed two of them for that nights dinner  and let the rest fly away as i saw them, and the next day saw another 4 all in the same area. so they are out there around my neck of the woods
