Hello fellow hunters,
My boss is writing a book on conservation, public lands and the role that hunters have played in championing those causes. He's looking for clear photos that depict the following in Western OR and WA.
1. Big game in their natural habitat (particularly Roosevelt Elk, Columbian Black-tail or Columbian White-tail)
2. Hunters in the landscape (e.g. someone glassing from a ridge, someone in a tree stand, etc.)
3. Hunters and their craft (e.g. tracking, at camp, pack horses, etc.)
The author is NOT interested in: "Trophy Shots" (e.g. pictures of hunter and their quarry) or anything that depicts non-fair chase methods.
We currently have quite a few options for Pacific North West wildlife photography, but finding appropriate photos related to hunting in the PNW has proven difficult. If you have an online album with anything that fits the author's needs, please post a link below, or a photo sample. If you have any recommendations for photographers that aren't a member of this site, please let me know.
I have looked through this forum section a bit already, and have found a few things that the author enjoyed. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
Thanks,
Betsy
