Hey i think i have that bow! but anyway how the hell does that happen?! to long of a draw length for too short an arrow?

Something isn't quite right with that picture. Look at the shaft to the left of the fletching.................ie there shouldn't be shaft, it should be the nock.
Looks like he drew down and the arrow went in.

Just from him coming to full draw then watching his arrow flop out to the tight bouncing off his hand them him panicking and letting go.... I've almost done this one time picking up arrows from 3d tourneys thinking they were mine.
Carbon arrows that are damaged and then shot will allow these horrific injuries to happen as well. I think it happens more commonly then most of us realize. With todays fast bows and the trend for lighter faster arrows it is very important that we remember to flex test all of our carbon arrows before shooting. Also visually inspect the nocks for damage. Carbon arrows that are damaged and then shot will allow these horrific injuries to happen as well.
I think this thread should have been titled Why some guys shouldn't shoot a bow period.
