I was going to get an Ruger American in a .308, but I love my AR.  So I decided to wait and get an AR10.  Was debating between the dpms 3g1 and aeroprecision .308 full build.  Either way, when I hunt its with an AR for sure.  I have an acog on my .223, but not sure what optic to put on the .308.  Any recommendations?

so, AR....  that stands for "awesome rifle?"    yeah im hunting with an awesome rifle this year!  took a bear and deer with it so far this year.  whats more awesome than a lever action .308 with a detachable magazine, forward locking rotary bolt, and single piece stock?
