ultralight ruined my hunt tonight!

Wet hunting this afternoon with my cousin... we had spotted a nice whitetail 160 yards away bedded in crp (private land) had my cousin set up on the rest waitjng for the deer to stand when a ultralight flys over us at 30-40 feet!  runs the deer off then circles them and runs them a different direction. We sprint 200 yards and set up for a rushed shot. My cousin shot over the buck. Then after all this the flyer circles back and waves to us!  i am so pissed about it. What is wrong with these people?

Either an anti hunter or pushing the deer in a direction for other hunters. I was also going to say file a complaint against that guy, go after his license.

I had a hot air balloon hit its burner right above me once, the doe I was stalking took off.  Of course, the balloon was not intentional.  What a jerk.  I don't think ultralights have any registration number requirements, but I'm not sure.  Should be someone in the area though that knows who it is.

You guys crack me up. Call the cops, report this, report that. It's a waste of tax payers dollars to send a cop out to do nothing about it. Go find the nearest air field and find they guy yourself and tell him a thing or too and stop depending on others to fight your battles. Can't you throw a rock 30-40 feet at his ultralight ? That's what I'd do..

It was a red and blue parachute ultralight and i was hunting just south of spokane. If anyone else saw it please let me know.
I did call a game warden whose phone number i have and he said he was too far away to get there. But if i find out who it was he would investigate.
If he wouod have landed anywhere near i would have had words with him! I did look for a rock but was more focused on getting a shot at the deer.

very aggravating to have this happen on private land... seems just like trespassing to me!
oh well at least I have late rifle season and late archery to chase that buck!

I spoke with a couple neighbors and they think they might know who it is... he launches from his property fairly often.
