He is big.  I think he will stretch out on the board over 18 inches.  Probably closer to 20.  We've got 4 or 5 this year over 18.  And this guy looks longer to me.

We usually use them along rivers, ponds, and big creeks.  They work but they don't work great.  Big traps work best.  We use 16x16x40 traps for walk in sets.
