Ok what is this?

I pulled the camera card and I'm not sure what this is. Look at the pic of the bear that walked by just after it and notice the time. I,v never gotten another pic of what ever this is again......

Looks like maybe a bear was after a kitty cat and it climbed the tree your cam is in maybe !!  :dunno: Or maybe the kitty cat heard the bear coming and scrambled up the tree your cam is in !!  :dunno: Either way works for me !!  :chuckle:

I would say it was another bear (cub?) that was nosing around the cam and it is the bears left ear in the photo.

I dont know about cub, if you notice in the last photo the sun shining off the shoulder shows a cinnamon tone, nice color phase bear, Next year :archer:?

Im gonna say all three pics same animal.  The sun light is just hitting it at a different angle. In the first pic you can see a little brown on the top right of the bear where the sun hits it, the second the sun is directly on the right side, and in the third you can also see the brown on the top right of the bear.

But was the picture taken on June 30 like the camera says? is it in a spring permit area? was it on a trail, or over bait?
