Are you a gambling man...
« on: October 31, 2014, 03:00:28 PM »
My father has a quality late tag and can probably get him on this guy come tomorrow morning, he's shot many quality bucks, he's on the fence whether to try for this guy, looking for 190+ and this guy won't do it... I got some lube to ease the your crazy comments  8)

If you can get him on it tomorrow...why could you not find him on day 5 or even 10???  Maybe look for a bigger buck and then resort that dink later in the season.   :chuckle:

I don't have many quality bucks....so I would shoot that dear in the first minute of my hunt.

Thats a dink compared to a 190+, so I would shoot it.  :chuckle:

Looks like a great buck...maybe a weak back fork on the driver's side?? I wouldn't pass that buck unless I have already killed a bunch of big bucks..which I have not. I can understand passing though if he wants a 190. Can't shoot a 190 if you shoot the 170's.
Please keep us posted on the outcome of the hunt. Now you've got me hooked.

Either way I'm sure he'll be taking a pickup ride with how he was acting!

The week back left fork appears to be a genetic trait in a certain area.    ;)

I'd smoke him all day long... But I haven't shot many quality bucks in this state either.. I hope you guys get the caliber of deer he is after though.

That's a great buck. He has to be close to 180.
