Its a bad deal.  He contributed greatly to this site and I miss the Hell out of his pics and stories.  Its amazing what politics will do.  As strong as we are as a website one would think it could get worked out.  Grudges are *censored*ty and sometimes you have got to stand for something. :twocents:

Pope got mad and left because he was angry that I thought electronic nocks on bows was unethical in addition to other things which he believed was a personal attack on him. Whe have agitated each other over time and after this incident in particular I banned him for a half a day. Instead I thought I had lifted the ban after just a few minutes knowing it would be a gross overreaction but I guess I had left it in place for half a day instead mistakenly. Oh well. Nobody is perfect and there is no taking back some things which have happened. He also didn't like that I didn't believe that his work in Russia during the 1980s was instrumental in the downfall of the Soviet Union. Of course he should be proud of what he did and I don't question that. I believe this was the second tipping point which irritated him over the top. Pope refuses to post by his own decision and states he believes that I will edit or delete any post of his to my liking. I don't believe I have edited his posts and I may have deleted a few over the course of time and locked topics but nothing in a personal nature other than to avoid degrading topics beyond their usefulness. Pope asked that I ignore him so that he can post here freely but I don't believe anyone should have to ignore each other unless they want to and he is free to post. Just as if I post something controversial someone is free to criticize that. I don't really have anything personal against Pope as I don't have time for endless grudges but I will talk on topics which are controversial using my opinions which are not everyone's opinions. People have a hard time digesting that I can actually have and speak about matters strongly and have a point of view on many controversial subjects. Pope can post at his own will and is free to do whatever he likes.

Is that a joke?  I mean wouldn't he have been in jr. high?
